Doctoral students learn how to create a startup from their research projects in Germany.
The research-to-startup (R2S) program
The research-to-startup program consists of 12 workshops run over the course of three years, one workshop each quarter. Each workshop addresses a key topic of turning research, in particular doctoral studies work, into a startup. The workshops build on each other and are aligned with the trajectory of a doctoral student at a university. We run the workshops three times, in parallel, each shifted by a year, to allow any interested person to join on an annual basis and adjust their intake to their needs.
